I am an environmental historian and social
ecologist working on energy and tourism
history as well as history of technology,
economic and infrastructure history.
About
Currently I am a project manager and research assistant in a project dealing with the history of natural gas dependence↝ at the Institute of History↝ at the University of Vienna. I am also working on a habilitation (venia docendi for Economic, Social and Environmental History) at the Department of History and European Ethnology↝, University of Innsbruck, where I was employed from 2018 and 2021 as well as 2023 as a postdoc assistant and adjunct professor (substitute for Patrick Kupper).
Since 2017, I have completed fellowships at the Deutsche Museum↝, Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society↝, Botstiber Institute for Austrian-American Studies↝ and EVN AG↝ and participated in several projects at the Institute for Social Ecology↝ and the Center for Environmental History↝. Before 2017, I completed a doctorate in environmental history at the University of Klagenfurt↝.
